I utilize my leadership skills to provide exceptional client-centered care to residents with Prader-Willi Syndrome. I am patient, trustworthy and organized — qualities which create a safe, stable and secure environment for the clients. As an assistant manager, my problem solving skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate with both clients and co-workers will keep the group home running smoothly.

Residential Counselor, Prader-Willi Homes of Oconomowoc, 2009

As a residential counselor, my primary duty is to ensure the well-being of the clients. I help oversee their exercise, daily chores, meals and free time.

Financial Aid Processor 2004-2007

My position as financial aid processor provided me with a better understanding in time management and confidentiality. I was responsible for meeting deadlines and filling out paperwork carefully. Attention to detail was a must because a mistake could have affected the amount of financial aid awarded. While working for the Department of Financial Aid, I was trusted in keeping all information pertaining to students confidential.

Service Cashier, Bergstrom Automotive 2002-2003

Service cashier was a fast paced job committed to outstanding customer service. My position allowed to me gain experience in handling large amounts of money, quick problem solving and working with many customers and fellow staff. I was trusted with running the service area on my own and putting money into the safe. I was also out on the service floor answering customer questions . This job at times was very difficult due to the fact that many were paying large bills for their car services. I gained a lot of experience in how to deal with unhappy individuals.

Cashier, Morton Pharmacy, 2000-2002

Morton Pharmacy allowed me to gain experience in assisting individuals with specific needs. This was my first hands-on job where I was able to assist staff, answer questions, and help the pharmacist.

Community Involvement

I am committed to community service. My extensive volunteer history includes involvement in public schools, teaching English to new immigrants, tutoring children with autism and other learning disabilities, and assisting graduate students with studies.
